Bachelor of Science in Digital Marketing

BS -Digital Marketing (BS-DM) is designed to provide a comprehensive curriculum in the field of digital marketing to cater the requirements of the changing business and technology landscape. It is intended to meet the requirements of business organizations, with a holistic philosophy based on industry-led approach. Through this program, learners will learn the diverse skills needed to succeed in almost every sphere of the digital marketing field.
The four years BS -Digital Marketing (BS-DM) is tailored made to serve the needs of the bright young persons who have completed twelve years of education and are looking for a career in marketing profession or towards higher education in marketing. This programme is open to the students with diverse educational backgrounds including, humanities, science, arts and commerce. The four years BS -Digital Marketing (BS-DM) promises the graduates higher level employability at the entry level of digital marketing management profession through helping them fulfill potential for high earnings and greater personal development.

Upon successful completion of the degree in Digital Marketing, students should be able to:

  1. Communicate effectively and professionally and demonstrate the ability to create coherent written and oral statements with the diverse audience across the cultures replicating skills to analyze and synthesize information.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to identify and evaluate relevant information for marketing decision-making and make usage of diagnostic thinking skills and marketing analytic techniques to assess the information and solve marketing problems in the environment like ours characterized by uncertainty.
  3. Understand computer-based marketing information systems and able to use end-user computing tools and infrastructures to apply and interpret marketing knowledge.
  4. Understand the importance of teamwork and group dynamics in achieving organizational marketing goals and demonstrate ability to work effectively in teams.
  5. Acknowledges and understands significance of cultural diversity adapt their interpersonal behaviours and styles accordingly.
  6. Understand marketing management leadership styles and demonstrate proven ability in exercising these styles according to the requirement of the situation.
  7. Acquire awareness of global diverse perspectives and understand the theory, operations, and challenges of global marketing.
  8. viii. Demonstrate effectively practicing of overall marketing knowledge and ability to identify and interpret essential marketing concepts, principles and skills.
  9. Identify core organizational values and understand the issues of ethical and social diversity based on ethic, gender, religion, and culture and demonstrate the ability to propose feasible solutions to these issues.
