The Department of Human Nutrition was established in spring 2019, with the mission to impart
quality education to students which will help in promoting health and nutrition of the population.
Through quality education, the Department is producing skilled graduates who play a vital role
in reducing nutritional problems at the level of community and clinical settings. The program
provides a core understanding of the sociological, physiological, and psychological components
of nutrition. It centers on problem-based learning in the classroom, clinical simulation labs, and
study trips.
The Department of Human Nutrition offers a 4-year Human Nutrition and Dietetics program
